Most questions offer five levels, from manual / paper, through spreadsheets, WMS with partial scanning and scanning at every node, up to automated with analytics. Three questions ask for measured figures you may already track — inventory accuracy, pick error rate and pack/ship error rate. “Unknown / not tracked” is a valid answer and is scored as such: not measuring is itself a finding.

What it does not do — limitations
- It is a self-assessment. Every score comes from your own answers. Nothing is measured, inspected or verified on site, so the result is only as accurate as the input.
- It is not an audit or a certification. No standard is being assessed against and no certificate is issued.
- It is not a quotation. Equipment suggestions indicate a direction, not a specification or a price. A real recommendation needs your parcel mix, site layout and volumes.
- Any investment estimate it shows is a model, not a quotation or a promise. It combines the figures you enter — order volume, headcount, labour cost, error rate, order value — with generic planning assumptions built into the tool, including indicative equipment costs. Change an assumption and the number changes. It is not a NetRay performance guarantee and not a result measured at any customer site; treat it as a starting point for a conversation, and ask us for a costed proposal before committing to anything.
- Benchmarks are indicative. Warehouses differ by product, market and season; a band is a conversation starter, not a verdict.
- It needs a modern browser with JavaScript. The assessment runs as a web application.
Privacy
You enter an email address so the report can be sent to you, and NetRay may follow up about your results. Do not enter customer names, order data or anything commercially sensitive — the assessment does not need it.
